Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in inpatient care is needed in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves providing patient-centered therapy across various hospital units, including orthopedics, neurology, trauma, and post-surgical care. Candidates are required to bring their state-issued license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Peoria, Illinois
- Specialty: Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP)
- Schedule: (3) 10-hour days, must include Saturday and Sunday. The third day is flexible. Hours are flexible.
- Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy; Illinois PT license; BLS (AHA) certification; minimum 1 year experience as a PT in an acute setting; active Illinois license or confirmation that application has been initiated; last four digits of clinician's SSN; requested time off; clinician's middle initial; must produce a negative drug screen for all panels.
- Additional Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; solid computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft software; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to evaluate patients physical and functional status; ability to document accurately; effective communication skills with patients, families, and treatment teams.
- Setting: Inpatient hospital coverage including orthopedics, neurology, trauma, post-surgical, and potentially ICU (if not a barrier for candidates).
- Other Notes: The position requires at least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
