Description
Job Summary:
A certified CT Technologist position is available in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves preparing patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, explaining scans, positioning patients to capture appropriate images, and operating imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue. The selected candidate must bring their license on the first day. Candidates are required to have a valid license and certifications as specified.
Job Details:
- Location: Madison, WI
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, start date on 07/13/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), CT Certification, BLS certification. Must have experience operating facility-specific equipment (Philips). On call is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Medical Imaging field (excluding school).

- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The CT Tech is responsible for completing all required paperwork in a timely manner, understanding and completing necessary requisitions, scheduling exams promptly, performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic C-arm exams, injecting IV contrast media as needed, performing reconstructions and printing protocols, diagnosing equipment failures, explaining procedures to patients, transporting patients, maintaining supply levels, and fostering courteous interactions with patients and staff. The role requires attending in-services and orientations and working closely with floor staff to ensure quality patient care.
