Job Summary:
This position is for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist specializing as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) in Denver, Colorado. The role involves assisting in various procedure roles within the cardiac cath lab, with a focus on solid STEMI and cardiovascular cases. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Shift Time: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm with call responsibilities
  • Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, including 1-2 weeknight call shifts and 2 weekend shifts every 6-week pay cycle
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI; 1 year minimum experience in a solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab setting; EMR proficiency with EPIC; Colorado fluoroscopy license or plan to obtain in about a week if not already held
  • Additional Information: The agency must provide a traveler radiology badge. If the candidate does not hold an ARRT (R), they will need to acquire a Colorado fluoroscopy license, which takes approximately one week. Shifts may be canceled up to four times during a 13-week assignment. The charting system used is EPIC. No BSN submission required.
  • Float requirements: Float rotation may be required only within the department if there is an extreme need, specifically in Zone 3 (OCH, LUH, SAH, SANC).
