Description

Job Summary:
The location is in a healthcare setting in Saint Louis, Missouri. The position involves performing computed tomography (CT) procedures in an emergency department environment. The role requires delivering high-quality imaging services with a focus on patient care, safety, and confidentiality, under the direction of a radiologist. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology in a fast-paced, clinical environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, rotating schedule, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification/Registration: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); ARRT(CT) registry; Missouri Radiologic Technologist License; 2 years of experience working in emergency department settings, trauma, stroke, CT angiography (CTA), and perfusion; Ability to read and communicate effectively in English; Basic computer knowledge; Ability to manipulate patient transfer equipment; experience working with GE Revolution (256 slices) and Siemens CT scanners.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of CTA and perfusion procedures.
  • Additional Information: Under the supervision of a radiologist, performs CT imaging procedures requiring independent judgment and technical skill. Ensures optimal image quality while maintaining patient confidentiality and comfort. Responsibilities include understanding anatomical positioning, selecting and modifying technical parameters, recognizing emergency situations, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
