Job Summary:
The location is in Marshalltown, Iowa. This Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) position involves providing respiratory therapy services within a hospital setting. Candidates are expected to have current Iowa Respiratory licensure and active certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). The role requires participating in orientations on 07/20/2026 and 07/27/2026. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: 36 months of current RRT / Respiratory Therapy experience, 15 months of hospital experience, active IA/Iowa Respiratory license, EPIC electronic medical record experience, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications active, and equipment experience including Hamilton ventilator, Airvo, BiPAP/CPAP required.
• Preferred Qualifications: IA/Iowa Respiratory license highly preferred, NICU or PICU experience in ED, specific skills checklist aligned with Respiratory Therapy, experience with Hamilton ventilator and Airvo.
• Additional Information: The position requires working 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day); candidates should be prepared for orientation on 07/20/2026 and 07/27/2026. The bill rate is $86/hr, and the pay rate is $90/hr. Candidates are selected via quick phone call or text from a 405 area code.
