Description
Job Summary:
The Imaging/CT Technologist position is based in Irving, TX. This role involves performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring patient safety, and delivering excellent service. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Irving, TX
- Schedule: 3x12s - Monday-Tuesday 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, Wednesday 09:00 AM - 09:00 PM, minimum hours per week: 36.0 hours
- Shift: AM
- Certifications/Degrees: BLS (American Heart Association), ARRT (CT), Texas MRT
- Minimum Experience: 2 years minimum experience in CT imaging
- Qualifications: Ability to perform high-quality CT procedures according to exam protocol; capable of explaining procedures and putting patients at ease; capable of performing duties independently; proficient in GE, Siemens, Toshiba imaging equipment; experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech electronic medical records; experience with trauma level 1 facilities; travel experience preferred; Texas license active.
- Additional Information: Candidates must demonstrate current knowledge and skills appropriate for all age groups served (newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, geriatric). The role may require serving as a preceptor, taking call, and adhering to safety and infection control policies. Responsible for maintaining documentation, ensuring patient safety, and providing courteous, accurate service in a cost-efficient manner.
