Description
Job Summary:
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist is needed in Austell, Georgia. This role involves performing interventional radiology procedures with a focus on cardiovascular interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of three years of experience in interventional special procedures, either in interventional radiology, cardiac, or vascular hybrid settings. The schedule is for day shifts, starting at 7:00 am, with on-call responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Location: Austell, Georgia
- Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 am 5:30 pm, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. Valid licenses include ARRT (Cardio Vascular Interventional Radiography, Radiography, or Vascular Intervention Radiography) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Intervention Specialist); BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or ARC-BLS (American Red Cross Basic Life Support) or BLS-I (Basic Life Support Instructor). A minimum of 3 years experience in interventional special procedures in IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid settings is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or ACLS Instructor certifications upon hire are preferred.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be capable of functioning independently during procedures after appropriate orientation and competency on the unit, including being placed on call rotation. Competency in all aspects of interventional and vascular procedures, patient positioning, radiation exposure factors, and radiation protection is essential. A strong understanding of anatomy and pathology, along with effective communication skills in English, is required.
