Description

Job Summary:
The Michigan-based radiologic technologist position involves performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in a busy healthcare facility. This role requires expertise in operating CT equipment, administering intravenous contrast media, and ensuring patient safety. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology in a dynamic clinical setting, supporting diagnostic accuracy and patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, three days a week, with flexibility on hours for overnight and block scheduling.
  • Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology; ARRT advanced registry in Computed Tomography or registry-eligible; BLS certification; ability to operate CT equipment; no minimum experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: N/A
  • Floating: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information:
    • Performs computerized tomography procedures with an emphasis on radiation safety principles and dose reduction techniques.
    • Assists radiologists with complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies.
    • Ensures high-quality image acquisition and proper documentation within PACS and radiology information systems.
    • Maintains clinical and operational standards including timely communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
    • Works in various settings including fixed units or mobile units at multiple facilities.
    • Will be exposed to potential radiation and high-voltage equipment, following proper safety precautions.
