Description
Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer Echo (Ultrasound Technician) position is based in Springfield, Vermont. This role involves performing echocardiography examinations, including sub-specialty procedures such as stress and transesophageal echocardiography. The sonographer will utilize two-dimensional imaging, color Spectral Doppler, and M-mode techniques to acquire diagnostic images. The position requires the ability to work independently, collaborate with physicians as needed, and handle high-pressure clinical environments.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 2+ years of current echocardiography and sonographer cardiac experience, certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), and active American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Vascular ultrasound experience, Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through ARDMS or Registered Vascular Scientist (RVS) through CCI.
- Additional Information: Must have own vehicle, include all scheduling requests at submission, and specify any time off during the assignment in the profile. No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted. Candidates must be located outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and include their permanent address in the profile. Candidates should be proficient in or willing to cross-train for vascular examinations and operate hospital information systems and clinical emergency equipment.
- Submission Requirements: Profile must include work history, skills checklist, supervisors signed reference from within the past two years, and valid certifications.
