Job Summary:
Polysomnographer in Montrose, Colorado. This role involves performing comprehensive sleep studies using Sensor Medics systems, including patient setup, scanning, and report generation. The position supports holiday coverage and requires working during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Position: Polysomnographer

- Schedule: Nights, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week

- Required Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of AMA (American Medical Association)-approved school of polysomnography, registered polysomnography technician (RPsgT), BLS (Basic Life Support) certified
- Training & Experience: At least one year experience in polysomnography, familiarity with Sensor Medics SomnoStar System, including set up, configuration, data acquisition, data transfer, scoring, and report generation
- Job Knowledge: Strong skills in sleep disorders, patient screening, scanning (including central apnea and hypopnea, obstructive apnea and hypopnea), ALS-level arrhythmia recognition, sleep staying, CPAP and BiPAP titration, O2 administration, use of various CPAP and BiPAP appliances, report validation, and report generation
- Preferred Qualifications: None provided
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Performs patient setup, scanning, BiPAP and O2 titration, report creation, and handles physical demands such as lifting up to fifty (50) pounds, prolonged standing, and fine motor skills.
