Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician position is located in Plano, Texas. This role involves supporting a busy Cardiac Cath Lab environment with focus on cardiac catheterizations and related procedures. The position requires a dedicated professional to join a team providing advanced cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional services.
Job Details
- Shift: Days, 8 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience in a Cath Lab environment, with certifications including RCIS or RCES for technicians.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience monitoring procedures in MacLab, EP and Peripheral Vascular procedures, and ability to perform heart caths, PE/DVT Thrombectomy, PVS, TEE with CVNs, Lexiscans, EP studies, Ablations, and Implants.
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities and rotating weekend shifts.
- Additional Information: On call and rotating on-call weekends, with one summer holiday and one winter holiday including corresponding weekends. The role supports a 2-lab unit staffed with 8 team members and involves working alongside a specialty team trained in advanced cardiovascular procedures. The candidate must possess a flexible, dependable, team-oriented approach and excellent punctuality.
