Description
Job Summary:
The Healthcare Worker (HWL) specializing as a CT Technologist is sought for a position in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) procedures within a busy emergency department and inpatient setting. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and provide assistance in a high-volume environment, supporting the organizations clinical operations effectively.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, for a duration of 13 weeks.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), registration as an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT, minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty, and current certification in CT procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong experience supporting emergency department and inpatient imaging needs; ability to work independently in a dynamic setting.
- Additional Information: This position requires Cerner proficiency and the ability to perform all CT procedures efficiently. The candidate must be adaptable to a busy CT department environment, with the capability to assist with urgent cases in both emergency and inpatient contexts.
