Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is sought for a healthcare organization located in The Dalles, Oregon. The role involves operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosing medical conditions. Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology (Preferred), Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)) or (R.T. (R)(ARRT)) - Required, Advanced Certification in computed tomography (Required in Oregon and Hawaii, Preferred in California and Oregon), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (Required), Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (Preferred in California and Oregon), Venipuncture certification (Preferred in California and Oregon), ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification (Required).
  • Essential Functions: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images accurately, maintains records and billing information in compliance with HIPAA, performs routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment, and manages supply inventory.
  • Additional Information: The position supports a variety of imaging procedures and patient care activities, ensuring high standards of image quality and patient safety.
