Description
Job Summary:
Mammographer position available in Nantucket, Massachusetts. This role involves managing and maintaining the Mammography Quality Assurance Program (MQSA, American College of Radiology (ACR), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliance), performing QA/QC testing, inspections readiness, accreditation support, and quality improvement initiatives. The position requires conducting screening and diagnostic mammography exams and supporting daily imaging operations in a hospital setting serving a close-knit island community.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certifications, Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license, minimum of 5 years of mammography experience, MQSA/ACR compliance and QA experience strongly preferred, experience with inspections, accreditation, and mammography quality programs preferred

- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include collaborating with radiologists, physicists, and imaging staff to ensure optimal image quality and regulatory compliance.
