Description

Job Summary:
The Denver-based X-ray Technologist position involves providing radiologic imaging services in a fast-paced acute care setting. The role requires coverage of various imaging procedures, including general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and portable studies, with a focus on supporting emergency department, inpatient, orthopedic, and spinal cases. This position offers a comprehensive night shift schedule and a collaborative environment with radiologists and radiology assistants.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour night shifts, 40 hours per week, with routine shifts scheduled on a 4x10 night rotation.
  • Required Qualifications: Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist), BLS (AHA), at least 2 years of experience, Colorado state licensure preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE, Phillips, Siemens imaging equipment, and proficiency with Epic Electronic Medical Records and PACS systems such as Fuji PACS, Carestream, and Shimadzu portables.
  • Additional Information: The role involves covering ED, inpatient, orthopedic, and spine procedures, including OR coverage with C-arm equipment. Radiology department uses multiple imaging systems and collaborates with in-house radiologists during daytime hours. A radiation badge is required for employment, and minimum local candidate requirements and radiology-specific operational details are included.
