Description

Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) located in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role involves performing procedural and test activities using CT equipment to acquire and analyze diagnostic patient data. Responsibilities include verifying patient identification, assisting patients and their families, administering contrast agents, manipulating images, and maintaining accurate documentation to support high-quality imaging output.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Wed/Thurs/Fri from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science; Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible; Advanced certification in CT; Must provide proof of diploma if registry eligible; Successful candidates must become registered within one year of employment; Maintain current competency in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Siemens experience highly preferred.
  • Skills: COMPUTERIZED TOMOGRAPHY (CT), PATIENT IDENTIFICATION, PATIENT HISTORY COLLECTION, PATIENT SAFETY, CT IMAGING PROTOCOLS, EMPLOYEE AND STUDENT PRECEPTING, IMAGE MANIPULATION, MULTI-PLANAR RECONSTRUCTION, 3D RECONSTRUCTION, CT ALGORITHMS, WINDOW AND LEVEL SETTING, ORAL CONTRAST ADMINISTRATION, INTRAVENOUS LINE ESTABLISHMENT, IV CONTRAST ADMINISTRATION, CONTRAST ELIGIBILITY DETERMINATION, LAB VALUE CHECKING, PACS NAVIGATION, QC STATION VERIFICATION, EMR SYSTEMS (UNCH S EMR, EPIC), IMPAX SERVICE TOOLS, ORDER MANAGEMENT, DUPLICATE ORDER CANCELLATION, CHARGE ACCURACY VERIFICATION, DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION ACCURACY, WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT, DIAGNOSTIC IMAGE PRODUCTION, CHART AND REPORT REVIEW, WORK ENVIRONMENT MAINTENANCE, INCIDENT DOCUMENTATION.
  • Education: Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science.
  • Certifications & Licensure: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible; Advanced certification in CT; Maintain registry and continuing education annually; Current competency in BLS required.
