Job Summary
Sacramento, California Xray Technologist position available within an acute care setting. This role involves performing X-ray procedures across various floors, departments, and surgical areas. The position requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts with varied start times between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (Radiography), BLS Certification, Fluoroscopy permit, and Radiology license. No minimum years of experience required beyond 2 years.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating GE, General Radiography, R/F, Carestream portables, OEC C Arms, and O Arm imaging equipment.
- Additional Information: Candidate must provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and a copy of their drivers license at the time of submittal for legal name validation. Candidates may not have been employed directly by any facility associated with the organization, including affiliated entities, within the past year. The role involves performing X-ray imaging on all floors and departments with a standard call requirement of 3 days per month, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weeknights and 24/7 on weekends, with a response time of 30 minutes. The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments. The charting system used is Cerner.
