Description
Job Summary
MRI Technologist position located in the area. This role involves working day shifts with a focus on MRI imaging procedures. The position requires a highly experienced professional with proficiency in Siemens MRI equipment and a solid background in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, with start date on 09/08/2026 and end date on 12/08/2026.
- Required Qualifications: 24 months of current MRI / Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, strong experience with Siemens MRI equipment, ARMRIT certificate or ARRT (MR) certificate, drivers license required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC and EPIC Radiant systems, Level I and Level II trauma experience, travel experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates may be required to float across all campuses, including Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran. Orientation sessions are scheduled for 9/8, 9/14, and 9/21. Holiday work may be required during Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. The role involves power injection contrast injections and working with ED, inpatient, and outpatient patient types.
- Call & Holiday: One weeknight (Sunday-Thursday) and one weekend (Friday/Saturday) every 10th weekend; holiday work may be required unless the unit is closed.
- Certifications: ARRT, ARMRIT, or ARRT (MR) certificates required.
