Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) located in Boston, Massachusetts. This full-time night shift position involves operating CT imaging equipment, including Siemens systems, to acquire diagnostic images in a Level 1 trauma environment. The role requires maintaining patient safety, ensuring proper imaging procedures, and supporting departmental protocols under general supervision.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night Shift 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology; current Massachusetts State Radiologic and Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist license; registration in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent; 2-3 years of radiologic technologist experience preferred, with at least one year in CT; experience with Level 1 trauma settings and Siemens equipment required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing venipuncture for contrast administration; strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently under pressure.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, preparing patients, explaining procedures, calibrating and verifying equipment performance, executing radiology information systems, and participating in quality assurance activities. Candidate must be flexible to rotate within departments and off-site clinics, and willing to provide on-call coverage as needed.
