Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is needed in Boston, Massachusetts. This position requires operating CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images across various clinics and divisions associated with the healthcare organization. The role involves patient preparation, imaging procedures, contrast administration, equipment calibration, and participation in departmental quality initiatives.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology; possess a current Massachusetts State Radiologic and CT Technologist license; be registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent; 2-3 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred with at least one year in CT; must have Level 1 trauma and Siemens experience; MA CT license and ARRT (CT) required; location in Boston, Massachusetts; minimum 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens CT equipment and trauma-level imaging procedures.
- Additional Information: The position involves floating among radiology clinics and divisions as needed, executing paperwork using Radiology Information System, performing venipuncture for contrast administration under radiologist supervision, and participating in research and quality assurance efforts. Flexibility for on-call coverage and shift rotations is required. The candidate should demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
