Job Summary:
Eufaula, Oklahoma The position of Xray Technologist involves operating diagnostic radiologic equipment to produce radiographic images of the body. The role includes specialized imaging procedures such as Computerized Tomography (CT) and Mammography, with responsibilities centered on patient positioning, procedure explanation, and ensuring safety through radiation protection techniques. This position supports the healthcare provider in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging in a clinical setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program; Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Current CPR Certification; 1 year of related experience in X-ray and CT imaging; Working knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques, CR/DR protocols, and MRI principles; Ability to administer pharmaceuticals intravenously; Knowledge of anatomy and physiology; Effective communication skills; Ability to organize and prioritize workload.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Operates diagnostic radiologic equipment, including specialized modalities like CT and Mammography. Explains procedures to patients to promote understanding, reduces anxiety, and practices radiation safety to minimize exposure. Performs quality control checks, maintains exam rooms and supplies, and documents patient data accurately within the hospital electronic medical record system. Must exercise independent judgment in procedures and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and patients.
