Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC); ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical information and technical procedures; effective communication skills; valid North Carolina state license or eligibility for licensure; at least one of the following certifications: ACLS, NRP, PALS, CPFT, or an advanced practice certificate for moderate sedation in Bronchoscopy Lab.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for airway management, mechanical ventilator care, oxygen and aerosol therapy, specimen collection, advanced procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis, chest tube insertion, needle decompression, and patient transport, including neonatal and pediatric transports if working with Carolina Air Care. The role may also involve ECMO management and working on-call during nights, weekends, and holidays.
