Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a CT Technologist to join a Level I Trauma Center in Detroit, Michigan. This position involves performing computerized tomography (CT) imaging procedures, including administering intravenous contrast media, preparing patients, and assisting radiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role requires adherence to radiation safety principles and collaboration with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week. No specific schedule block noted; days, afternoons, and nights scheduled with weekend rotation required.
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, ARRT (CT) certification, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of experience in CT imaging. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and registry-eligible in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies.
  • Explains procedures to patients and prepares them for examinations.
  • Uses PACS and RIS systems for image management and study documentation.
  • Demonstrates team standards including open communication, respectful attitude, and customer service values.
  • Works in hospital or mobile units, with potential exposure to radiation and contagious patients.
  • Physical demands may include lifting equipment or patients in excess of 10 pounds.
  • On-site start date scheduled for 07/20/2026.
