Description
Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is needed in Hermiston, Oregon. This position involves performing diagnostic radiography and computed tomography procedures, including patient positioning, image evaluation, and assisting licensed practitioners with interventional procedures. The role requires a flexible focus on both CT imaging and X-ray services, with the possibility of floating to other departments as qualified.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate or bachelors degree from an accredited radiologic technology program; OBMI and ARRT registered CT technologist; current BLS certification; no minimum experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: N/A
- Float: Float rotation may be required to other departments where qualification exists
- Additional Information: Performs diagnostic radiography procedures including patient preparation, positioning, and image evaluation. Operates radiography and computed tomography equipment, evaluates image quality, and maintains proper documentation. Assists with interventional radiographic procedures within scope of practice. Ensures adherence to aseptic techniques and provides patient education. Maintains Universal precautions and supports hospital mission and policies. Participates in required education for DNV programs. Performs other duties as assigned.
