Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist will provide services at a facility located in Garden City, Kansas. This position involves performing all CT scans, including stroke and trauma imaging, with an emphasis on contrast administration and patient care. The technologist will work collaboratively with the department team to deliver quality imaging services in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with hours of 9.5 each day, minimum of 38 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), Certified CT Technologist with ARRT in CT, Kansas license, a minimum of 1 year of experience performing CT scans, including IV contrast administration.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE 64 slice scanners, familiarity with Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS, ability to float between CT and X-ray departments.
• Float: Float between CT and X-ray may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • This is an overnight position with IV starts performed in the emergency department or inpatient unit.
  • Department operating hours are typically Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Orientation will be provided at the department, adhering to hospital guidelines.
  • The hospital has a cancellation policy allowing up to 4 shifts to be canceled within a 13-week assignment.
  • The response time for call or standby requirements is expected.
