Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in Johnson City, New York. This position involves performing routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The role requires providing technical support for various procedures such as catheterizations, angioplasty, structural heart interventions, and peripheral angiography. Priority is placed on activities that directly impact customer service, with adherence to safety and radiation protocols. The position includes responsibilities related to equipment operation, safety standards, staff training, and inventory management.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 40 hours per week, with 1 night per week call and 1 weekend per month call.
• Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, NYS Radiology Technologist license, ARRT(R) certification, BLS certification from AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross, 0 years minimum experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Additional Information: Performs quality assurance checks on equipment, maintains supply inventory, demonstrates working knowledge of hospital information systems, and understands coding procedures for accurate billing. Learns new techniques by attending educational seminars and readings. The position may involve instructing students and residents, and preceptor duties when applicable.
