Description
Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services across various hospital units, including orthopedics, neurology, trauma, and post-surgical care. The position offers rotating shifts with scheduled hours and requires flexibility to work on weekends.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 10 hours per day, three days per week, including Saturday and Sunday, with flexible scheduling for the third day and hours.
- Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy; Illinois PT license; BLS (American Heart Association) certification; at least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute setting; Additional skills include excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft software, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must submit the last four digits of their Social Security Number, confirm active Illinois licensure or initiation of the application process, and understand OSF is a Drug-Free Campus requiring negative drug screening results. The position includes a local rate applicable to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles.
