Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatric care is needed at a healthcare facility in Anchorage, Alaska. The position involves providing respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients in a designated respiratory unit. The role requires working night shifts, with an emphasis on ventilator setup and other advanced respiratory procedures, to support patient care needs.
Job Details:
- Location: 2801 Debarr Road, Anchorage, Alaska, 99508
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- Number of Positions: 2
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include CRT/RRT, BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Education requirements include relevant certification as a Respiratory Therapist. No minimum years of experience are required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in ER, Critical Care Unit (CCU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Level 2 procedures.
- Responsibilities: Setting up and managing ventilators for neonate through adult patients, including Hi Flow in NICU, nebulizer treatments, Nitric Oxide, Flolan Therapy, Bipap, and Bubble CPAP.
- Additional Information: The respiratory therapist may cover all units within the facility. Dress code requires hospital scrubs. Shift work includes weekends and on-call responsibilities.
