Description
Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient in Eureka, California. This position involves providing therapeutic services within an inpatient setting, working with a generalized patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and functional independence.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California license in hand, 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in inpatient settings, including acute and chronic disorder management, functional activities, and standardized assessments. Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Additional Information: Candidates must submit SSN, DOB, and RTO (Request for Time Off) details at the time of submission. Travelers will be expected to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References are required covering a 1-year period (6 months for CNAs) prior to start. The role involves floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
