Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Inpatient in Bakersfield, California. This role involves providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The candidate will serve as an essential member of the interdisciplinary care team, adhering to all regulatory, licensing, and certification requirements.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Masters Degree or foreign equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology, California Speech Pathologist licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor, and a minimum of 0 years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Two years' speech language pathology experience, American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Essential Functions: Reviews patient information prior to evaluations, conducts and documents comprehensive assessments, assists in data collection of patient outcomes, instructs and supervises support staff, performs other related duties
