Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves providing advanced procedural and radiologic support to physicians in a busy interventional radiology department. The position includes assisting with a variety of non-cardiac procedures, managing equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during invasive interventions. Rotation on-call responsibilities are also part of the role.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40.0 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program; Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association; a minimum of six (6) months of related experience; effective communication skills; ability to work independently and with a team; capable of wearing lead aprons for extended periods.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with large volume departments, Epic electronic health record system, Level 1 Trauma experience, Phillips equipment; prior interventional radiology experience.
  • Additional Information: The role includes assisting with procedures such as mechanical thrombectomies, angioplasty, stent placements, biopsies, line placements, thrombolysis, embolizations, coils, drainage catheters, and IVC filters. The technologist will operate specialized equipment, support new technology implementation, stock and maintain departmental supplies, and participate in departmental educational activities. Training new personnel and mentoring are key responsibilities.
