Description
Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a CT Technologist position located in Seattle, Washington. The role involves working in the Radiology department performing high-quality computed tomography scans. The assigned shift is nights, with a schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday, requiring weekend and holiday work.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Friday-Sunday
- Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, Certified CT Technologist (ARRT - Computed Tomography), Washington State Department of Health License for Radiology; at least 2 years of experience in CT imaging; knowledge of ER type scans; current Emergency Room (ER) experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating GE and Toshiba CT scanners; knowledge of EMR systems including Epic and PACS software.
- Float: Float rotation may be required; tech should be able to operate Toshiba scanner if GE system is down.
- Additional Information: The department has two CT scanners (GE and Toshiba). The ideal candidate must be able to handle approximately 30 scans per day during a 12-hour shift. Training will be provided via department-specific orientation, and scrubs are provided in solid colors. The role involves starting IVs for ED patients, troubleshooting non-working IVs, and responding promptly to call or standby requirements within 30 minutes.
