Job Summary:
The X-ray Technologist position is located in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves supporting radiology departments with a wide range of imaging procedures across multiple campuses. Candidates are expected to have proficiency with Siemens general radiography equipment, Carestream portable units, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arm systems. The position requires operating room experience, including with C-arms and O-arms, as well as the ability to support all areas of radiology, such as plain film imaging, operating room exams, and portable exams.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current X-Ray experience in a hospital or medical center setting, experience using Siemens fixed radiography equipment, carestream portable units, active Iowa radiology license (or attestation with a 1-3 week turnaround), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, and BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE OEC C-arms, Medtronic O-Arm systems, surgery fluoroscopy, operating room experience, support across all age groups, Level I trauma experience, pediatric experience, and prior experience supporting multiple campuses.
• Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA).
• State Licenses: Iowa (highly preferred; attestation acceptable if applying at acceptance).
• Submission requirements include a skills checklist specific to Radiology Technologist / X-Ray, professional references within 24 months, and active licensure.
• The candidate must quickly interview via phone call or text from a 405 area code. Orientation is scheduled to start on 8/24/2026.
• The role may require supporting multiple campuses and providing comprehensive radiology support in a fast-paced hospital environment.
