Description
Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Portland, Oregon. This role involves working in a short-term acute care facility with a high patient census. The technologist will support imaging services across various units, including Emergency Department and main departments, utilizing multiple CT scanners. Candidates should be prepared to work days with a 12-hour shift schedule.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), certification in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and experience with Epic charting system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, familiarity with GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba equipment, and experience with adult acute care, outpatient, and trauma units.
- Additional Information: This position involves floating within hospital units and potentially to nearby affiliate hospitals. The candidate must have their own vehicle for travel between facilities. All scheduling requests, including days off and holiday work, must be specified during submission. The candidate should be willing to work on holidays and adhere to the facilitys protocols, including handling special procedures and equipment.
