Description
Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is based in Dublin, Georgia. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) scans with and without contrast in a busy healthcare setting. The technologist will work in a department equipped with advanced imaging technology and collaborate with a team to provide high-quality patient care, including participating in rotating weekends and holidays.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT certification, CT Registry, ability to perform CT scans with and without contrast, and minimum 1 year of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE documentation systems such as Meditech and Centricity PACS.
- Certifications: ARRT, CT Registry.
- Position specifics:
- Unit of service: 2 CT units serving emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient populations.
- Equipment: GE imaging systems.
- Documentation systems: Meditech, Centricity PACS.
- Floating requirement: On call schedule may be required.
- EMR: Electronic Medical Record systems in place.
- Procedures performed: CT scans, CT-guided biopsies (relevant procedures).
- Dress code: Department scrubs (navy blue).
- Sample department highlights include advanced technology, experienced staff, and a collaborative team environment.
- No additional experience minimum is required beyond the listed qualifications.
