Job Summary:
The position of Physical Therapist Inpatient is located in Apple Valley, California. This inpatient role involves providing essential physical therapy services within an acute care hospital setting. The therapist will evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients, focusing on recovery and functional improvement.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week. Start date is 08/11/2026.
• Required Qualifications: California state license or in-hand license, minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient physical therapy. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with acute care, home exercise programs, and managing patients with conditions such as COPD, CHF, MI, post-stroke rehabilitation, and orthopedic injuries. Experience with electronic charting systems, preferably Epic, is preferred.
• Additional Information: The role requires competency in acute care procedures, patient education, gait training, and the use of assistive devices. Candidates must be willing to work a block schedule and commit to working three of the five recognized holidays. RTO requests should be included at the time of submission. Candidates must be able to float between facilities within the designated local radius. All candidates are expected to pass background checks and provide two references covering at least one year of recent experience.
• Submittal Requirements: Confirmation of current California license, recent fire card (within last 30 days), and response to whether the candidate has previous experience at a healthcare facility of this type.
