Job Summary:
Radiation Physicist position available in California. This role involves providing clinical physics services to patients receiving radiation therapy treatments, including electron, photon, and high dose radiation therapies, within a healthcare facility. The position requires collaboration with the radiation oncology team, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and participating in training and quality assurance activities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified ABMP (American Board Medical Physicist) OR Certified ABR (American Board Radiology) is required. Must hold a valid California state license with Nursys verification uploaded within the last 2 weeks. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience, with relevant certifications and applicable certifications with valid expiration dates uploaded.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SRS/SBRT procedures, and experience in a hospital or trauma setting.
• Specialized Skills and Equipment: TrueBeam, GE CT, Eclipse, Superficial Treatment, ARIA, and Tier 3 travel compliance.
• Facility & Patient Care Details: Provides care primarily for adult and geriatric patient populations. The daily census averages 55 patients.
• Additional Information: Candidates will need to complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to start date. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience, and references must be obtained within the last year.
• Submittal and Certification Requirements: Upload applicable certifications with valid expiration dates, including AHA or ARC certificates. References should be obtained within the last year. Return staff/travelers are accepted with no separation time required.
