Job Summary
The EEG Technologist Registered role is located in Madison, Wisconsin. This position involves performing electrophysiological diagnostic testing procedures, including electroencephalograms (EEG), long-term monitoring for epilepsy, and intensive care unit EEG monitoring, under the supervision of senior staff and physicians. The ideal candidate will have at least three recent years of experience in epilepsy monitoring units or comparable settings, with proficiency in stereo electroencephalography (SEEG) and SPECT, and be available to start on August 3, 2026.
Job Details
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting August 3, 2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid registration as an EEG Technologist (REEG), with a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in trauma centers or similar facilities with SEEG and SPECT in epilepsy monitoring units. Graduate of an approved Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation. BLS and R.EEGT. certifications required. Pediatric experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS, R.EEGT.
- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to float as needed. This role requires passing strict pass/fail telemetry tests, with up to two attempts provided. The position involves working in various clinical settings, including outpatient laboratories, emergency departments, intensive care units, and monitoring units.
