Job Summary
The organization is seeking a CT Technologist for a temporary assignment in Roswell, New Mexico. The position involves performing diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans and X-ray procedures for both inpatient and outpatient cases. The role requires proficiency in routine CT scanning techniques and adherence to departmental protocols, supporting timely diagnostic services within a healthcare setting.
Job Details
- Shift: Days, 7:00 am 3:30 pm, with call required; 8 hours daily
- Schedule: 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: At least 2+ years of experience, New Mexico state radiographer license, CT certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), current BLS certification, and knowledge of EMR systems such as Cerner Change Healthcare PACS system
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient and outpatient procedures, proficiency with CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
- Additional Information: This position involves performing all CT exams and X-ray procedures, including fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. Candidates must be graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with ARRT. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning and cross-sectional anatomy. No floating requirements; blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. The maximum requested rest time off (RTO) is one week.
