Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in West Burlington, Iowa. This position involves assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders across multiple age groups, including neonatal, infant, toddler, school age, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The role requires overseeing all respiratory care modalities, initiating therapeutic procedures, maintaining patient records, and operating respiratory equipment. The selected candidate will work 12-hour night shifts, scheduling every other weekend, with on-call responsibilities once per scheduling period. Some pediatric experience and recent Epic electronic medical record familiarity are preferred.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) registration, relevant education, and 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior pediatric care experience, recent Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience within the last 12 months.
• Additional Information: A unit of mandatory low census coverage may be implemented per week depending on patient load. On-call responsibilities are required each scheduling period.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
