Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position located in Denver, Colorado. This role involves providing respiratory care to pediatric (peds) patients within a hospital setting. The position supports a dynamic unit focused on airway management, ventilator management, and other respiratory procedures for both adult and pediatric populations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital experience as a Respiratory Therapist Registered; certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP; Level III NICU experience; PEDS experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Critical care experience (adult and neo/peds), PICU experience, prior Meditech experience
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include airway management, ventilator management, and providing support in emergency departments; unit equipped with advanced respiratory equipment such as G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, and V60/V30. Ideal candidates will have strong patient care skills and excellent communication abilities.
