Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist (Computed Tomography - CT) in Jacksonville, Florida. This position involves working on a mobile unit scheduled for night shifts, with assignments that may extend to emergency field operations. The role requires performing advanced imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort during scans.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, graduate of an accredited Radiology discipline, BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross), ARRT (Computed Tomography) certification, Florida State Department of Health licensure, minimum of 2 years of clinical radiology experience, and at least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology, experience with Cannon CT scanners, proficiency with EPIC (Radiant) electronic medical record system.
- Additional Information: This is a mobile unit that goes out to the field for emergencies. Submission packet must include facility type, EMR, and bed count, and at least one reference dated within the last 12 months. The position involves serving all age groups, with familiarity with radiographic procedures, patient communication, basic troubleshooting, and maintaining competency in at least two imaging modalities. The unit manager conducts interviews. Candidates must be flexible to work in emergency settings and adhere to the 50-mile travel radius rule. No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment; RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 8 days for the 13-week contract.
