Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Certified Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist for an assignment located in Jacksonville, Florida. This position involves performing CT imaging procedures in a busy healthcare environment, providing quality patient care across all age groups, and maintaining operational proficiency with imaging equipment and modalities. The assignment is scheduled for nights, with a focus on delivering accurate imaging services within a 13-week timeframe.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited radiology discipline; BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross); active ARRT (CT) credential and Florida State Department of Health licensure at time of submission; minimum of 2 years of clinical radiology experience; at least 2 years of experience as a CT technologist; knowledge of radiographic procedures and practices; proficient with computer software and troubleshooting; familiarity with imaging and patient care equipment; must maintain competency in a minimum of two modalities.
- Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology; experience with Cannon CT scanners is preferred but not required.
- Equipment Experience: Knowledge of CT scanners, specifically Cannon preferred, and EMR systems, specifically EPIC (Radiant).
- Additional Notes: Submission packet must include fully completed Facility Type, EMR, and Bed Count; at least one reference dated within the last 12 months; candidate interview by the unit manager.
- Travel & Float Requirements: Travel is required; float rotation may be necessary.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work within a 50-mile radius, with no RTO permitted during the first two weeks of any new assignment. RTO submission is limited to a maximum of 8 days for this 13-week contract.
