Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered position in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. This role involves providing comprehensive respiratory care for patients, including ventilatory support, airway management, and patient education. The respiratory therapist will operate various invasive and non-invasive ventilatory and oxygen delivery equipment, perform assessments, and assist with procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid respiratory therapist license in New Jersey, completion of relevant certifications (such as BLS and ACLS), minimum of zero years of experience, and location in the vicinity of Rochelle Park, New Jersey
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory care and familiarity with advanced respiratory equipment skills
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will evaluate patients, administer treatments, operate ventilatory equipment, perform airway management including suctioning and tracheostomy care, monitor patient responses, and assist with procedures like bronchoscopy and chest tube placement. The role also includes performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to guideline standards and documenting all treatments and patient responses accurately.
