Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist is responsible for assisting with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within a healthcare facility. This role involves preparing the procedure room and equipment, assisting physicians during invasive cardiac and vascular procedures, monitoring patient vitals, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The position is located in Rowlett, TX, with a schedule of 10-hour days, initially 4 days per week, with potential to move to 5 days per week if needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association; Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification; qualified to work in Texas; at least 4 years of clinical experience in cardiac cath lab, vascular, or electrophysiology cases.

• Additional Information: The role includes assisting with arteriograms, catheterizations, pacemaker implants, and other diagnostic or interventional procedures. Responsibilities encompass preparing sterile fields, monitoring patient ECG and vital signs, transporting patients, and maintaining documentation per medical standards. Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, complex invasive procedures, and radiation safety regulations are essential. The candidate must be flexible, precise, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
