Description

Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality diagnostic images. The position requires Siemens experience and Level 1 trauma certification, with responsibilities including patient preparation, equipment calibration, and documentation.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, requiring a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology; current Massachusetts State Radiologic and CT Technologist license; registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent; Level 1 trauma and Siemens experience required; 2-3 years of radiologic technologist experience preferred, with at least one year in CT; valid Massachusetts license; strong interpersonal skills; analytical abilities for imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens CT equipment; familiarity with Level 1 trauma protocols.
  • Additional Information: The candidate will operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images, assist with contrast administration, calibrate and verify equipment operation, and participate in departmental quality assurance and research programs. Flexibility to work shifts across all department divisions and off-site clinics, including on-call coverage, is essential. The role entails patient transport, documentation, and maintaining departmental supplies.
