Job Summary
A CT Technologist position is available in the Michigan area. This role involves performing computerized tomography (CT) radiological procedures on patients, including general diagnostic radiology examinations, with a focus on patient safety and image quality. Candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting radiologists and ensuring high standards of care and accuracy in imaging processes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D., registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with an advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible, BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of CT experience. Experience with GE and Phillips imaging equipment is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Responsible for explaining procedures to patients and preparing them for imaging.
  • Reviews clinical data and performs appropriate examinations, including administering intravenous contrast media and monitoring patients for reactions.
  • Prepares and maintains sterile equipment and supplies.
  • Assists radiologists in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies.
  • Demonstrates principles of radiation protection, including shielding and dose reduction techniques.
  • Manages images in PACS and completes all study indexing in RIS, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Exhibits team-oriented standards, maintains professional communication, and follows clinical protocols.
  • Performs all documentation as required in medical records and imaging systems.
