Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist with expertise in cardiovascular invasive procedures is sought for a 13-week contract in a facility within a 50-mile radius of Leesburg, Florida. The role involves performing interventional cardiology and structural procedures, including PCI, Impella, IABP, and managing patients across all ages, from neonates to adults. The position requires strong congenital lab experience and the ability to work rotating day shifts with call coverage.

Job Details

• Location: Leesburg, FL
• Shift: 12-Hour days, from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, with call coverage overnight and weekends; variable schedule.
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists); minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular Technology or Cath Lab; previous travel experience; proof of Florida state license if ARRT certified; pediatric and adult clinical experience including congenital patients; experience with PCI, Impella, IABP, structural procedures such as Watchman, Temp Pacers; peripheral vascular experience preferred; no employment gaps of 30 days or more without explanation; at least 1 professional reference dated within the last 12 months.
• Additional Information: Interviews conducted by Unit Manager; processing may take up to 14 business days; no RTO during first two weeks; maximum of 8 days of RTO for the contract duration; mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination with exemptions available upon submission of exemption form; staff declining vaccination must complete an educational module.
