A Certified Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is sought for an assignment in Norfolk, Virginia. The position involves performing pediatric X-ray and CT imaging procedures, engaging with patients for interviews, and ensuring proper patient positioning during radiologic services. This role requires a strong focus on pediatric imaging and patient communication.
Job Details:
- Position: CT Technologist
- Location: Norfolk, Virginia
- Schedule: Nights shift, 9 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Two years of pediatric experience
- VA license in hand
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- BLS certification
- Ability to perform both X-ray and CT procedures, with most time spent in X-ray
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Additional Information:
- Involves interviewing patients and documenting relevant information
- Proper patient positioning during radiologic procedures is essential
- No float rotation expected
