Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Brunswick, Georgia. This role involves providing direct patient care and assisting cardiologists during all phases of procedures performed in the cardiac catheterization lab. The position primarily serves adult and elderly patient populations, with scheduled hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. An on-call obligation with potential overtime may be required.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/24/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited technical program in Cardiovascular Technology or possess a healthcare-related associate degree with Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification; current RCIS credential required; must be at least 80 miles from the facility; valid driver's license required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of experience in a cardiac catheterization or special procedures laboratory.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing a variety of technical and administrative duties relevant to the cardiac catheterization lab. Candidates should be experienced working primarily with adult and geriatric populations, including frail elderly patients.
